Principles of Biochemistry
Biochemistry deals with the study of the substances and chemical processes which occur in living organisms. It includes the identification of the substances, studies of their structure, determining how they are synthesized and degraded in organisms, and elucidating their role in the functioning of the organism.
The Principles of biochemistry deals with the structures and functions of cellular components such as proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids and other biomolecules and their synthesis and degradation. It will help in understanding how biological molecules give rise to the processes that occur within living cells which in turn relates greatly to the study and understanding of whole organisms
