Physical space

It refers to the amount of space that is available and the way that space is arranged. There is relationship between small amounts of space and aggressiveness in social interactions. The early childhood education centre should provide at least 35 sq ft of indoor space and 75 sq ft of outdoor space per child. There are three types of basic designs in space arrangement. They are

• Closed plan facility


• Modified open plan facility
