Lesson 9:Neurobehavioural Assessment of Newborn Infant

Individual differences in temperament

The neonatal behavioural assessment model considers full term new born as a well organized social partner. The strengths and weaknesses in organization may influence behavioural differences. The intention of assessment was to identify individual constitutional differences. Appraise the way in which these differences influence care givers. It facilitates intervention with care givers and infants.
