The Basis for choosing a philosophy

When programs are planned and implemented the curriculum content and teaching strategies consciously or consciously reflect the philosophy that is based on:

1. Assumptions about how children learn
2. Values of program planners and families involved.
3. Views of planners regarding basic issues in education.

Teacher’s role:

Content oriented: According to this teachers teach the children letters, numbers, tying laces on shoes, manners, and the like.
Process oriented : According to this teachers interact with questions, role models, reflector, observer and evaluator.
