    • Evaluation of a social programme should be interms of the objectives of the programme.
    • Evaluation should include assessment and appraisal of both the product and the process.
    • Evaluation should be a continuous process, not just a point in time judgement.
    • Evaluation should be made by teams comprising professionals, social scientists and client representatives.
    • Evaluation should be done in the context of an organisations philosophy and objectives. • Evaluation like planning, should takes place at multiple levels.
