Observation of motor development of infants 19-24 months

Introduction: Children of this age are truly on the go. A greater sense of independence begins to develop as children begin to walk, run and climb with greater skill. The child is very active and gets into everything. He needs constant supervision psychomotor skills improved and the child can hold and show beginnings of throwing skills. He can walk, run with good coordination. He can jump, climb up and downstairs without support. His hand skills to improve.

Aim: To observe the motor development of infants in the age range of 19-24 months

Objectives:

1. To understand the motor development of infants (19-24 months).
2. To develop the skill to observe the motor development of infants in the age range of 19-24 months.
