  3. C. Stimulation activities
    1. Admires the child's abilities to learn or do things
    2. Plays games or engages in other activities with the child
    3. Praises new and unusual responses
    4. Stimulates the child by talking, reading, playing, handling
    5. Reports how smart or how good the child is.
    6. Talks to the child; listens to the child; responds to what the child tries to say.
    7. Gives child the freedom to discover what the world is like on its own.
    8. Gives simple household objects like kitchen pots or wooden spoons to play with.
    9. Encourages reaching and crawling by putting brightly colored objects beyond his or her reach.
    10. Arranges places in the home where he or she is free to crawl and explore.
    11. Talks to the child while feeding, dressing, or bathing, naming different objects the child touches or looks at.
