Noodles

Wheat flour noodles are an important part of the diet of many Asians. It is said that noodles originated in China in 5000 BC, then spread to other Asian countries.

• Noodles are consumed in many countries outside Asia due to globalization of economy and changing food habits.
• The noodle preparation includes mixing raw materials, dough sheeting, compounding, sheeting and slitting. Noodle strands are further processed to produce different kind of noodles.
