Harmony

Harmony refers to the agreement or combination of elements to form complete whole. It is a fundamental requirement in any piece of the work in which appearance and use have to be considered. It can be produced through the sensitive balance of variety and unity and by regulating amount of likeness and contrast among elements in a design. If the principles of proportion, balance, emphasis and rhythm are applied creatively so that there is a sense of beauty in the design, the resulting attribute will be that of harmony or unity. It is a culminating goal toward, which strives when selecting and arranging the various elements for a particular design. While designing apparels, important aspects of the principle of harmony considered are as follows:
