Predisposition to osteoporosis

  • Excessive exercise, high fibre, low fat intake leads to changes in circulating estrogen levels, irregular menstruation and low bone mass.
  • Predisposition to osteoporosis is in part the result of dietary deficiency and exercise patterns during the developmental years.
