Reconsideration and Review of progress

PROGRAMME PLANNING, IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION 2(1+1)

Reconsideration and Review of progress

At the end of the programme, the situation should be considered to review the social and economic changes of the people.

  • Village institutions like panchayat, co-operative, school and block development committee should periodically review the progress of plans in cooperation with the staff members of the block.
  • Programmes which have created a positive impact on the people and are being accepted by them should be extended to the neighbouring areas where similar agro climatic and socio-economic conditions occur.
  • Research should be conducted on the programmes which are not being accepted by the people and the reason for their failure ascertained.
  • Results of evaluation enable us to know the shortcomings and accomplishments of the programme implemented.
  • On the basis of the results, changes in the techniques, methods and materials can be made. All these changes in this have to be made by:
    • the concerned extension agents,
    • local leaders
    • representatives from planning group
    • other members of the block and state who are concerned with planning.
