Skill in human relations

Ability in human relations is necessary for successful work with people, especially local leaders, co-workers and those in the administrative organization. Human relations concern how people get along with one another. Since the job of extension workers is to bring about educational change in people, hence it is important that extension workers must act in such a way that rural people adopt those changes, but if extension workers cannot do this, they have to change goals, to those desired by the people. Moreover, these workers must know the technical answers translated into better farm, home and community practices.
