Functional Areas

The interiors can be divided into three major functional areas

  • Living area
  • Sleeping area
  • Service area

The areas should be designed taking into consideration the purpose for which they will be used, which in turn decides the size, placing and size of windows, furniture etc., while designing activity based interiors, the requirements of all categories of people should be considered.
