Construction materials
Although earthen raceways are some times used, the majorities are constructed from concrete or cement blocks. Earthen race ways are some times lines with water proof liners to reduce water loss through leakage. Many small experimental race ways are fabricated from wood, metal, fibre glass, plastics or other materials.
