    • Wireless networks have many uses. A common one is portable office.
    • Portable computers are sometime wired. Wireless LANs are easy to install.
    • The computers communicate I wireless LAN in digital form.
    • There is a possibility of using a cellular telephone with a traditional analog modem.
    • Direct digital cellular service called CDPD(Cellular Digital Packet Data) is available in many cities.
