A number of maize hybrids and composites for kharif and rabi seasons have been recommended. Hybrids like Ganga safed-2, Ganga-5, Ganga-9, Deccan, Deccan-103, compositeslike Kisan, Tarun, Harsha, Arun, Renuka, Kiran and fodder varieties like African tall, Deccan, Deccan 103, Ganga-5, CO-1 etc. are recommended for cultivation.
