• Should be designed in such a way that they are useful to the entrepreneur by imparting necessary knowledge that is required.
• They should be designed to fill the gap between the knowledge that the entrepreneurs have and the knowledge that is required by them.

The best results are achieved when participants first gain an understanding of the total process involved in entrepreneurship development and then receive an in-depth training in each of the inter-related processes involved in the programme
