There are several problems which arise in an enterprise. These problems may be natural or man-made. For women, the problems may be doubled due to the attitudes and responsibilities at home and with children.

1. Competition from bigger units with economic scale of production
2. Less demand due to mushrooming of similar units
3. Necessity to give up the enterprise due to family obligations, spouse’s career etc.
4. Shortage of additional own capital to invest
5. Obsolescence of product or product technology
6. Weakening of zeal and enthusiasm
7. Non- acceptance of women as entrepreneurs by community.
