Novice and experts These group use things in very different ways, at very different skill levels. It is necessary to keep the design accessible for both of these groups
Population of various size, shape and gender. Different populations tend to be of different sizes; within a single population, women tend to be smaller than men, and not as strong (there are always exceptions). And people are of very different shapes - pregnant women, old men, children, people in wheelchairs, and so on.
Language and culture. People from different parts of the world, with different regional cultures, customs and languages, access buildings and products. They need to understand circulation paths and controls.
