Stain Removing Technique From Resilient Flooring

Remove with
|
Asphalt. shoe polish
|

Citrus-based cleaner or mineral spirits
|
Candle wax
|

|
Scrape carefully with plastic spatula.
|
Crayon
|
:
|
Mineral spirits or manufacturer's cleaner.
|
Grape juice, wine, mustard
|
:
|
Full-strength bleach or manufacturer's cleaner
|
Heel marks
|
:
|
Nonabrasive household cleaner. If stain remains, Use rubbing alcohol.
|
Lipstick
|
:
|
Rubbing alcohol or mineral spirits
|
Nail polish
|
:
|
Nail polish remover.
|
Paint or varnish
|
:
|
Water or mineral spirits while still wet. If dry, scrape carefully with a thin plastic spatula. If stain still shows, rub with rubbing alcohol.

Pen ink
|
:
|
Citrus-based cleaner, rubbing alcohol or mineral spirits.
|
Permanent marker
|
:
|
Mineral spirits nail polish remover, or rubbing alcohol.
|
Rust
|
:
|
Oxalic acid and water (l part acid to 10 parts water). Extremely caustic; follow all directions.

After removing the stain, rinse the area with a damp cloth to remove residue.
