Granite: produces a feeling of stability and permanence is desired. Granite for walls is usually polished or honed as abrasion is not a problem with walls.
Limestone: is a pale cream off -white or beige in colour , and are used interiors of kitchen, bath and wash areas.
Marble: takes a beautiful polish and comes in variety of colors. It is found to be ideal for fireplaces and bathroom walls.
Sandstone: is a natural concrete of sand grains, looks and feel very sandy.
Slatestone : it splits easily into thin sheets and makes good indoor paving.
