5.2.3.3 Graphs of one variable

When only one variable is to be represented, on the X-axis measure time and on the Y-axis the value of the variable and plot the various points and join them by straight lines. The fluctuation of this line shows the variation in the variable, and the distance of the plotting from the base line of the graph indicates the magnitude.
