1.3.3.Important charecteristics of groups

a. Group always consists of atleast two or more persons. Those two persons must be capable of mental response.

b. Communication and interaction is esential among or between the persons forming a group.

c. The communication and interaction needs to be reciprocal - two – way.

d. The group can be of long or short duaration.

e. Though the common interest, shared values and norms are found to be important in g groups. All the groups do not share them.

f. Groups can be formed on the bsis of variou kinds of situtions.
