2.5.6.Value aspects of motivation

(a) Intrinsic values:

These are what a learner does for the sake of engaging in the activity itself. This is to be desired in learning and is more immediate.

Eg.: Satisfaction derived from hobbies

(b) Extrinsic values:

These are incentives or goals that are artificially introduced into a situation to stimulate the activity.

Eg.: Prizes and melads.
