2.5.7.Techniques of motivation

(1) Need-based approach:

The approach should be need-based so that it could satisfy the five categories of needs by knowing the level of motivation and patterns of motivation among them. The five categories of needs are

(i) physiological or organic need; (ii) desire for security; (iii) desire for new experience; (iv) desire for affection or response; (v) desire for recognition.
