5.6. Monitoring ongoing project
In order to extend qualitative lending’s and improve its performance, it is prerequisite to know the post investment development in the fields and therefore monitoring studies are conducted by NABARD in association with financing banks.
Based on pre and post investment monitoring, necessary modifications in project formulation and implementation are undertaken. Such studies are conducted taking into consideration technical, economical, commercial, managerial and social aspects. Based on the findings of these monitoring studies guidelines are circulated. Based on the sponsored projects or based on its own study, the NABARD fixes unit prices for various micro level projects or projects for individual fishermen.
