FORMAL AND INFORMAL GROUPS

• Formal groups are organised, have a membership roll, definite roles, rules or procedures of operation and rigidity enforced behaviour of it’s members. Ex. Panchayats, registered societies etc.
• Informal groups are not formally organised, and rules and procedures are no rigidly enforced. Ex.. Friendship groups, play groups etc.
