  • Medium sized snakes
  • Shiny scales
  • Wide head and neck
  • On dorsal side of hood, black and white spectacled mark is seen.
  • Poisonous snake and is ubiquitous in distribution
  • Average length: 1 mt and at birth it is about 25 cm.
