• Anteroexternal angle of basal antennal segmentpronouncedly dilated into a lobule, which completely fills orbital hiatus.
• Flagellum being completely excluded from orbit.

Sub-genus Charybdis

• Posterior border of carapace curved.
• Anterolateral border divided into 6 teeth of which atleast 5 larger.
