5.2.Type of the Freezer
The three basic methods of freezer are,

• Blowing a continuous stream of cold air over the fish- air freezer.
• Direct contact between the fish and a refrigerated space- contact or plate freezer
• Immersion in or spraying with a liquid nitrogen- immersion or spray freezer.
