Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, the student may be able to
- Learn about setting up the ideal work station for computer aided designing
- Understand about various cad commands for drawing lines, rays, infinite lines, circle, arc, freehand sketch, rectangle, square, polygons, polyline, spline, donuts, hatch pattern, using a predefined library pattern, moving within a drawing, block, etc.
- Learn about AUTO CAD commands used in apparel designing
- Learn to make basic slopers
- Make pattern alterations
- Introduce fullness in the drawings
- Make various sleeve, collar and skirt patterns
- Design yokes
- Sketch an illustration
- Make a marker
