Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course, the student may
- Understand the principles of draping and get to know about the various tools and equipment used for draping
- Be able to prepare a dress form for draping and
- Be able to drape the bodice front and back , skirt and sleeve
- Be able to manipulate basic dart to various other locations
- Be able to drape different varieties of yokes
- Be able to drape Halter neck
- Be able to drape princess bodice
- Be able to drape basic cowls
- Be able to drape various basic skirts-A-line skirt, Pleated skirt, Gored skirt, Circular skirt
- Be able to drape Collars –Peter pan, convertible, turtle neck and shawl collar
- Be able to drape kimono sleeve
- Be able to Design and drape three garments
