Aim of the Practical: The students will gain knowledge about Chinese or Paddy straw mushroom and learn the technology for its cultivation under ordinary conditions.

• Paddy straw mushrooms are mainly grown in the subtropical and tropical area and it has become an important source of agricultural income in countries like Thailand, Cambodia, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Japan etc. It is also known as Chinese mushroom as it was grown for the first time in China.
