Introduction
A tree is a perennial plant having a distinct trunk with a crown at the top. Trees have immense beauty from aesthetic view point. They bring the change in sky line on account of variation in their height, shapes, foliage texture and flower colour. They are used in landscape plan for aesthetic and functional purposes. Trees are used in gardens as specimens, for avenue plantation and as wind breaks and screening. Trees are very fascinating because of their graceful appearance and the abundance of bloom. They are grown for their economic importance or aesthetic value or both. The cultivation of trees for their aesthetic or recreational value is known as arboriculture. Trees should be planted carefully and thoughtfully for the benefit of height, shade, colour and vertical emphasis. |
