Asthma

It is the most common pulmonary disease of childhood. The substance or situation which triggers asthma attack is pollen, air pollution, a respiratory infection or exercise. Symptoms include shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing and labored breathing.

Treatment: Should avoid triggers, use medication, use prescribed inhaler, school personnel should know what steps to take during asthma attack.
