The examiner should give thoughtful attention ahead of time to testing requirements for the child. As the examiner has access to parent application forms, medical records, teacher’s reports well in advance of child’s assessment, he can review these materials.

This aids in initial interaction with the child, Selection of appropriate tests and reinforces, estimation of entry level for initial test items.
