Factors for Child Care programmes

Type of programme is related to the needs of the community and also to the stated philosophy. The other factors which affect type of programme to be selected include:

• Sources of available funds
• Origin of impetus (driving force) for the program.
• Not for profit program receives financial support through government funding from subsidies from sponsoring agencies.
• Proprietary programs are supported by the capital investments of individuals or corporations.
