Manures and fertilisers

• Cinnamon responds well to fertilisers. Apart from 20 kg of FYM, a dose of 20 g N, 20 g P205 and 25 g K20 per seedling is recommended in the first year. The dosage is gradually increased to 50 kg FYM/ compost, 200 g N, 180 g P205 and 200 g 1<20, for grown up plants of 10 years and above. The fertilisers should be applied in two split doses, in May-June and September-November.
