Introduction: Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) is an important vegetable crop and is cultivated in an area of about one million hectares in India. One to three crops per year are taken under varied agroclimatic conditions. The cultivation of this crop is often affected due to attack of various diseases caused by fungi, bacteria, viruses and nematodes. This lecture deals with the other important fungal disease problems in potato and their management.
