World organization for early childhood education-United States national Committee (OMEP-UNSC)

This is the only worldwide nongovernmental organization that focuses on education and welfare of young children aged 0-8 years. Assists any undertaking to improve early childhood education and supports scientific research that can influence these.

The UNSC works to educate its members and the public about its issues relating to the children throughout the world.

It holds an international assembly biennially on aspects of preschool education and cooperates with UNESCO in arranging seminars on training of teachers, parent education, a world survey of nursery schools and a bibliography on status and trends in preschool education.
