Refrigerated road transport

Different types and capacities of refrigerated road vehicles are available for transportation of perishable goods. The cooling media may be ice, ice and salt, dry ice, cryogens and refrigerants. Today majority of refrigerated vehicles operate on a mechanical refrigeration system.

The vehicle should be as airtight as possible to prevent heat loss. It should also be well insulated to prevent heat loss through exchange, through floor, walls and roof.
