Introduction

Electronic media are the gifts of science and technology to human society. They are wonders that mesmerized people in the beginning days of their origin. Today electronic media are playing an important role in our lives. They provide us information, entertainment and act as tools of education. Among the mass media radio and television, which are operated through electromagnetic waves are called electronic media. In the recent years electronic media have expanded very rapidly and became all pervasive. Radio and television are used for broadcasting. In some cases these are also used for narrowcasting.
