Social Institutions

It is an organized system of social relationships which represents certain common values and procedures and meets certain basic needs of the society. They are culturally approved patterns of behavior including prescribed roles and procedures and are grouped to satisfy some basic social needs. They have continued long enough to be considered as permanent institutions.
