Lesson 14 : Leadership

Theories of Leadership

There are four theories of leadership which are listed below:

1. Trait theory
   A person possessing certain traits of uniqueness and excellence becomes the leader of the group.
2. Functions
   A leader is a person who has the potential to perform his role and functions successfully.
3. Situation
   A leader’s role depends a lot on the situation, which determines a person’s potentiality as a leader.
4. Interaction
   Interaction of the leader with his followers is quite significant to be an effective leader and reveal a successful leadership.
