Lesson 16 : Procedures in Programme Execution
Giving wide publicity to the programme
A programme of action should be well understood by each villager so that they feel that the programme is for them and effective programme execution can take place. With this in view, the programme must be widely publicised in the villages where it has to operate. This publicity of the programme can be done through:
Distribution of printed copies like pamphlets, folders etc. in local languages regarding the programme.
Announcements and advertisements through media like radio and television.
Explaining the programme to the villagers at a general meeting and
Explaining the programme and discussing it in village panchayat meetings, cooperative society meetings, young farmer’s club meetings etc.
