Lesson 16 : Procedures in Programme Execution

Roles of different persons involved in programme execution be clearly specified

• It is the villagers who make the change and execute the programme. It therefore becomes necessary for the extension workers, particularly the Gram Sevak, to stimulate and guide the villagers to take action using proper extension methods at appropriate time. Moreover, the Gram Sevak should also understand his role properly.

• The extension officers, block development officers, and district officers who all are involved in programme execution, should support and strengthen the Gram Sevak and at the same time they all must understand their own roles and responsibilities clearly.
