Monitoring and Evaluation Instruments

Monitoring and evaluation of the extension programmes can be done in different ways. The type of evaluation chosen for a particular programme depends upon the objectives set. The three most common forms of monitoring and evaluation instruments are:

• Performance Monitoring
• Process Evaluation
• Impact Assessment
