Introduction

Modern flooring and carpets are with the finishes that resist stains, but that still doesn't make them stain proof. Stain-resistant finishes hold the stain on the floor and carpet's surface so you can remove it before it penetrates deeper. Blot stains; don't scrub them or you might damage the floor and carpet pile and probably spread the stain. Using a clean, white, absorbent cloth, gently work in the cleaner from the edges of the spot toward the center. Keep blotting until you can't see the stain on the cloth. Then use clean, warm water to take up the clean residue and blot the excess water
