Standards

Lesson 03 : Concept Of Family Resources Management

Standards

Standards are a set of measures of values, stemming from our value patterns, determining the amount and kind of interest we have in something and the satisfaction we receive from them. They serve as a measure or criterion for the measurement of objects, ways of doing things and ways of living as we make judgments. They are what individuals and families will accept as adequate and worth working, because standards are dynamic. They move the individual or the group towards action. Thus they lead to a pattern of human behaviour and determine their emphasis on the kind of their managerial activities and the amount of efforts to put in.
