CARDIOLIPIN

  • They are made up of 2 molecules of phosphatidic acid linked by 1 molecule of glycerol
  • It was isolated from heart muscle.
  • It is present in the inner mitochondrial membrane and needed for the maintenance of ETC.
  • It is antigenic.
